Prestera Health Services Joins National SAMHSA Project to Strengthen Behavioral Health Crisis Systems
Huntington, WV — Prestera Health Services has joined a three-year national initiative led by Aptive Resources, LLC and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to evaluate and strengthen behavioral health crisis services across the United States through the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and Crisis Services Program Evaluation.
Through this partnership, Prestera Health will collaborate with Aptive to share insights and data that will help assess how crisis response systems are implemented and how effectively they meet the needs of individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. The project seeks to identify ways to improve access, quality, and equity of care across the national crisis response continuum.
Over the next three years, Aptive will collect and analyze de-identified data from participating crisis service agencies, including Prestera Health Services, to better understand system performance and outcomes. The findings will inform SAMHSA and local agencies in making data-driven improvements that enhance the Behavioral Health Crisis Services Continuum nationwide.
This collaboration represents a shared commitment among Prestera Health, Aptive Resources, and SAMHSA to ensure that individuals in crisis receive timely, effective, and equitable behavioral health support—no matter where they live. The data collected will not only help guide decisions on where additional services are needed but will also ensure that existing programs continue to produce meaningful, quality outcomes for those they serve.
