Short-Term 3.5 Residential Addiction Treatment

Pinecrest and Riverside are CARF-accredited short-term residential substance use disorder programs, each lasting 28 days. Pinecrest accommodates both men and women aged 18 and older, while Riverside exclusively serves men of the same age range. Consumers must possess the physical and cognitive ability to engage in an intensive community-based treatment environment. Both programs aim to integrate treatment needs by employing evidence-based interventions, maintaining consistency in primary treatment activities and ancillary services, facilitating smooth transitions across levels of care, and coordinating present treatment with past episodes. Given the chronic nature of substance use and mental disorders, continuity of care is paramount. Case managers at both Pinecrest and Riverside assist consumers in coordinating their treatment schedules, including therapeutic interventions, 12-step support meetings, and vocational training/placement. Services provided include individual counseling, group therapy, educational/vocational goal completion, drug and alcohol testing, case management, psychiatric evaluation and treatment, transportation, and medical referrals. Both programs support and utilize medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders.
