Children’s Mobile Crisis
The Children’s Mobile Crisis Response team intervenes during emotional or behavioral crises in youth, aiming to ensure safety and support for both the youth and their families. Operating 24/7, crisis specialists provide immediate support and teach necessary skills to restore routine functioning and keep children in their home, school, and community whenever possible.
To request assistance from the Children’s Mobile Crisis Response Team, simply call 1-800-642-3434 and ask to speak with a team member. They will meet with you and your family to discuss concerns and assist with crisis planning.
During a crisis, a Crisis Specialist will gather information about the situation and assess the level of response required. If necessary, a team may be dispatched to de-escalate the crisis and provide support to the youth and caregivers involved. Assessment, intervention, skills training, and crisis planning can occur on-site, over the phone, or via video.
